Brandon
As President of Schultz & Co., CPA’s, Brandon energetically guides and directs the firm’s growth while assuring the continuity of its reputation for the highest of professional standards. Brandon has over 20 years of experience serving clients across a broad range of industries. He is well respected for his experience in the areas of SEC reporting and private placement memorandums. He advises numerous closely-held business, LLC’s, partnerships, and individuals. Brandon is a licensed CPA in both Texas and New Mexico.
Brandon’s practice focuses on small business accounting and taxation as well as individual tax. His broad experience also includes healthcare, insurance and governmental auditing. Brandon has specialized expertise in business innovation and application of blockchain technology.
Brandon has served many community organizations including the New Mexico Entrepreneurs Association and the SBA’s SCORE Chapters in Lawton and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brandon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and was President of UNM’s Association of Accounting Students. Brandon also completed the Executive Program in Business Innovation and Application of Blockchain Technologies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Prior to incorporating Schultz & Company, CPA’s, Brandon held positions in several large accounting firms in New Mexico. Brandon was also a Financial Analyst for Horizon/CMS Healthcare Corporation, a publicly traded corporation on the New York Stock Exchange. Most recently, Brandon was the Budget Auditor for the City of Albuquerque Office of Internal Audit.
A strong believer in community service and active involvement, Brandon plays in the orchestra at First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, TX and accountant to the Rider High School Band-Orchestra Parents Association.
