As President of Schultz & Co., CPA’s, Brandon energetically guides and directs the firm’s growth while assuring the continuity of its reputation for the highest of professional standards. Brandon has over 20 years of experience serving clients across a broad range of industries. He is well respected for his experience in the areas of SEC reporting and private placement memorandums. He advises numerous closely-held business, LLC’s, partnerships, and individuals. Brandon is a licensed CPA in both Texas and New Mexico.
Brandon’s practice focuses on small business accounting and taxation as well as individual tax and corporate internal auditing. His broad experience also includes healthcare, insurance and governmental auditing.
Brandon has served many community organizations including the New Mexico Entrepreneurs Association and the SBA’s SCORE Chapters in Lawton and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Brandon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and was President of UNM’s Association of Accounting Students.
Prior to incorporating Schultz & Company, CPA’s, Brandon held positions in several large accounting firms in New Mexico. Brandon was also a Financial Analyst for Horizon/CMS Healthcare Corporation, a publicly traded corporation on the New York Stock Exchange. Most recently, Brandon was the Budget Auditor for the City of Albuquerque Office of Internal Audit.
With continuous and rapid changes in our industry, continuing professional education (CPE) is an ongoing process. Brandon is in full compliance with the CPE requirements of the AICPA, the Texas State Board of Accountancy, and Government Auditing Standards.
A strong believer in community service and active involvement, Brandon plays in the orchestra at First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, TX and Treasurer of the Rider High School Band-Orchestra Parents Association.
