Salli Mendez, CPA

Salli serves as an accountant in our audit and attestation division and joins our team with extensive knowledge in many areas of financial accounting.  She began her accounting career in governmental accounting and continued her career for 22 years in Texas public school finance. 

Salli graduated from Midwestern State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Accounting.  She passed the CPA exam after completing her education.  After graduating from MSU she joined the Wichita County Auditor’s Office as an Internal Auditor.  She was in charge of Auditing the County Payroll, the Property Tax Department, other various departments and financial reporting which included assistance with the County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

Prior to joining Schultz & Co. Salli worked in the Region 9 Education Services center with Wichita Falls Independent School District.
